A call to the fire department could have ruined Allison and Kevin Duffy’s Shore wedding last weekend. But instead, this couple turned a crisis into an awesome photo opp.

When Stafford Township Volunteer Fire Company #1 and Surf City Volunteer Fire Company were called to the Bonnet Island Estate on Friday, the Duffy wedding was evacuated from the building – and their reception.

Instead of calling it a night, the party waited for the all-clear. After a faulty refrigerator was inspected, the celebration continued with a special entrance. Alison Duffy was carried back into the reception by the two fire companies as photographer Drew Noel captured the moment of a lifetime.

The couple didn’t let the odd circumstance go to waste. Outside, the two shot another romantic photo with the fire truck to preserve one memorable wedding.
